Nonimmigrant Visa Application Fees Have Increased

On March 28, 2023, the U.S. Department of State published final adjustments to the Schedule of Fees for Consular Services. Effective June 17, 2023, several nonimmigrant visa (NIV) application processing fees and the fee for border crossing cards for Mexican citizens aged 15 and older increased:

– H, L, O, P, Q, and R category NIV application fees increased from $190 to $205

– Except for the E visa category, fees for non-petition-based NIV applications, such as B1/B2 business or tourism visitor visas, F student visas, and J exchange visitor visas, increased from $160 to $185

– E category NIV application fees increased from $205 to $315

– Border crossing card processing fees for Mexican citizens aged fifteen and older increased from $160 to $185
