FY 2024 H-1B Cap 2nd Round Selection Process Completed

U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) announced on July 31, 2023, that it had completed its second round of random selection from previously submitted registrations for the FY 2024 H-1B Cap. In its announcement, USCIS stated that it selected a sufficient number of registrations projected as needed to reach the cap. Please note that any unselected beneficiary registrations will not reflect a status of “Not Selected” in the USCIS registration system until the conclusion of the fiscal year on September 30, 2024.

For selected registrations from the second round, H-1B cap-subject petitions for FY 2024 may be filed with USCIS during a 90-day window from August 2, 2023, through October 31, 2023.

USCIS has notified all prospective petitioners with selected registrations that they are eligible to file an H-1B cap-subject petition for the beneficiary named in the selected registration.
