Erin Elskes – Partner
Erin Elskes has been practicing immigration law in the San Francisco Bay Area since 2009.
Her experience includes a broad range of representation, including all aspects of employment-based immigration, I-9 compliance, family-based immigration, citizenship, complex inadmissibility waivers, defense in removal proceedings, and immigration relief for victims of crime.
Prior to joining McCown & Evans, Erin practiced immigration law with a large, global corporate immigration firm, focusing primarily on the PERM labor certification process, immigrant visa petitions, consular processing, adjustment of status applications, reentry permits, and naturalization applications. She has also practiced at a boutique family-based and removal defense immigration firm and at a non-profit organization, representing clients of all nationalities in a wide array of immigration issues.
Education
Erin received her Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Spanish from the University of California at Davis in 2003, and her Juris Doctorate from the University of San Francisco School of Law in 2008.
Admissions
She is admitted to practice law in California, and is an active member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association. She is fluent in Spanish.
