Noriko Kurotsu – Global Immigration Attorney
Noriko Kurotsu has practiced global immigration law since 2005.
She advises companies of all sizes including Fortune 500/100 companies in navigating immigration rules around the world. Noriko’s experience includes large and small scale moves as well as short and long term work authorization for a wide variety of industries including the engineering, finance, retail, and technology fields. She assists companies in developing internal global immigration compliance programs and provides guidance on employee moves to emerging-market countries.
Prior to joining McCown & Evans, Noriko practiced immigration law at corporate immigration law firms as well as with an employment law firm.
Noriko graduated from Barnard College, Columbia University in 2000 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Asian & Middle Eastern Cultures and in Art History. She received her Juris Doctor degree in 2005 from the University of Minnesota Law School, where she served as Articles Editor for the Minnesota Journal of Global Trade (now Minnesota Journal of International Law).
Noriko is licensed by the State Bar of Minnesota and is authorized to practice federal immigration law. She is an active member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association Global Migration Section.
